Announcing the new Regulatory Advisory Unit

The RAU's mission is to help human subjects researchers navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance and ethical research practices.

We are excited to announce that the Regulatory Advisory Unit (RAU) is now fully operational and dedicated to providing comprehensive support to faculty, students, and staff in their research endeavors.

Key Areas of Support:

  • Personalized Review: Detailed evaluation of research proposals to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, including IRB, research agreements, and study registrations.
  • Expert Guidance: Tailored advice to align the study design with IRB and other regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Assistance in interpreting and adhering to complex regulatory guidelines.
  • Undergraduate Research Clearance: Specialized support for undergraduate research projects involving human subjects.
  • ClinicalTrials.gov Support: Assistance with study registration and updates to meet compliance requirements.

In addition to these services, RAU Assist will continue to monitor regulatory developments, organize educational events such as workshops and webinars, and promote transparency through effective communication channels.
