Sponsored by the Division of Research, this year’s program brings together the brightest minds in physical science and engineering. We are proud to welcome visiting experts from Argonne, Brookhaven, Lawrence Livermore, Los Alamos, and Sandia National Laboratories to explore new frontiers in collaborative innovation.
Open to Brown faculty, students, and staff.

2026 Theme: AI & AI-Enabled Research

  • Panel Discussions: DOE National Labs scientists will talk about the DOE’s Genesis Mission, explore workforce development initiatives, and discuss the intersection of AI with science, energy, and security.
  • Student Poster Presentations: We will provide an opportunity for students to showcase their research in artificial intelligence. Please indicate if you are interested in presenting a poster during registration (below).

This spring, Brown University welcomes scientists, engineers, and technical experts who are at the forefront of research from DOE National Labs such as Oak Ridge, Lawrence Livermore, Brookhaven, Argonne, and others. Join us for presentations and discussions about AI and AI-enabled research with leading researchers from the national labs.

The event is open to faculty, staff, and students, space is limited, with **registration required** and will be held in South Street Landing, 350 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02912. Registration closes May 7, 2026.
