It is the policy of the IACUC and CARE that all animals requiring facilities for housing and use are maintained in an IACUC-approved dedicated animal facility. Use of a dedicated animal facility allows for enhanced communication among all personnel, consistent and high-quality animal care, clearly identified roles and responsibilities and coordinated allocation of resources and funding.
