Every year, distinguished Brown scholars are nominated for Research Achievement Awards by their colleagues for conducting exceptional and transformative research.

Prestigious Nominations

Brown University faculty and fellows often receive prestigious awards recognizing their outstanding research, scholarship and leadership. Research Strategy and Development (RSD) works across campus to increase the number of Brown faculty nominated for awards, recognition and honors.

RSD team members are available to meet with you to discuss potential nominations and provide support throughout the nomination and submission process. RSD can:

  • help faculty nominate or be nominated for prestigious awards;
  • develop discipline-specific processes and support tools;
  • coordinate and support institution-wide nominations for highly prestigious national and international awards and honors; and
  • assist in highlighting award winners on campus and beyond Brown.

Research Strategy and Development

The Research Strategy and Development (RSD) team collaborates with the research enterprise and Brown faculty to identify research funding opportunities, perform strategic planning, develop research proposals and provide research leadership.
