
Mark Etzelmueller, M.Sc.
Biography
Mark has served as the technical lead for multiple federally funded research projects, providing leadership and strategic insight to teams developing research and development initiatives. At Brown, Mark works to strategically plan and support collaborative research proposals within the Schools of Engineering and the Physical Sciences.
Mark is a former staff engineer at the Trinity Centre for Biomedical Engineering and the Harvard Move Lab. He specialized in biomedical devices and wearable robotics, with expertise in human subject studies, hardware development, biomechanical data analysis, and project management. His work focused on developing wearable technology and the translation of this technology from research settings to the community for use in real-world applications.
Mark holds an M.Sc. in Bioengineering from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a Concentration in Biosystems from the University of Notre Dame.
