We are writing to share that the remaining HRPP Town Halls scheduled for this week will be consolidated into the final session on Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET via Zoom. As a reminder, the HRPP Town Hall will provide an overview of the upcoming alignment of HRPP operations under Brown University beginning in January 2026, including what is changing, why the alignment is occurring, and how it will enhance support for our research community.
All individuals who registered for any of this week’s sessions will be invited to attend this final town hall. We recognize that this change is last minute and that schedules may not allow everyone to participate. During the session, we will highlight institution-specific considerations and walk through how each organization will be supported through the changes taking effect in January. The session will be recorded and made available for later viewing on the Brown HRPP website.
For those who have not yet registered and would like to attend, please register here. The registration link can also be found on the Brown HRPP website.
We continue to hold Brown University and the surrounding Providence community in our thoughts. Through this alignment, we are now all members of the same community, and we deeply appreciate the support, shared strength, and sense of togetherness during this time.
Thank you for your continued engagement and understanding.
Sincerely,
Brown Human Research Protection Program
