IACUC
The IACUC recognizes that fluid and food regulation may serve as powerful and useful methods to modulate motivation. All food and/or fluid regulation must be approved by the IACUC and justified based on the scientific objectives of the study. In all cases, the least amount of restriction that will achieve scientific objectives must be used.
Reference this directive when food or fluid will not be offered ad-lib to NHPs.
