Workday Learning
All courses are managed through Workday Learning. To register, log in to Workday using your Brown credentials, navigate to the Learning module and click Search for Available Learning under Links. Search for “Coeus” to find relevant courses.
Available Coeus Courses
All Coeus courses in Workday Learning are available online 24/7.
Explore the institute proposal and award modules in Coeus Premium. Become familiar with relevant Coeus terminology. Learn how to effectively search for and access your department's sponsored research activity that is stored within the Coeus database. All participants must be current authorized users of the Proposal Development module within Coeus. New or transferred users can gain access to Coeus by submitting an access request ticket with the Office of Information Technology.
This course covers constructing a proposal shell in Coeus Premium. Topics include some Coeus navigation and how to create a proposal record so it can be completed at a later time.
This course teaches from creation to finalization of a grant proposal budget in Coeus Premium. This is a self-paced course with short video lessons and supplemental guides that can be utilized by beginners or used as a Coeus learning refreshment tool by research administrators.

If after completing all online modules in Workday Learning, you need further Coeus training, you may request in-person or Zoom training directly with the Research Administration Information Systems (RAIS) team. Submit a training request, or other learning questions, to rais@brown.edu.
